No special enrollment is required! Simply sign up for the mailing list to receive regular communications about STEM activities. There are many opportunities for you to support STEM throughout the year.
The GBS STEM BC Board is composed of officers and committee heads who support activities throughout the year. View the GBS STEM BC Board. The board is established each year in the Spring. View the descriptions of each Board role and use the contact us form if you’re willing to step up into an executive role or co-lead a support team. Board members provide active leadership and contribute to the GBS Band Program’s decades-long legacy of success.
Board meetings take place on the first Thursday of each month, beginning at 5:00 pm in the Makers Space.
The GBS STEM Booster Club maintains a strong and cooperative relationship with teaching staff, school administrators, and District 225 Board of Education. The policies of GBS STEM Booster Club will always align with those established by Glenbrook South High School and District 225.

President
Runs board meetings, supervises all committees, and trouble shoots as necessary.
Secretary
Keeps the records of all board meetings and sends out weekly emails. Manages 501c3 documentation.
Treasurer
Maintains all funds and prepares monthly and annual financial reports.
Alumni Relations
Communicates current STEM activities to alumni band parents. Motivates engagement between Alums, teachers and students.
Fundraising
Organize fundraisers e.g. Zeffy, restaurant nights, etc. Coordinates fundraisers with Student Engineering Club Board.
Middle School Liaison
Communicates current STEM activities to local middle schools.
Social Media
Manages website and Social Media Communication.
