Volunteer with GBS STEM Booster Club
Your expertise and enthusiasm can make a real difference in inspiring the next generation of innovators. We rely on dedicated volunteers—parents, professionals, alumni, and community members—to bring STEM to life beyond the classroom.
We’re seeking volunteers to:
- Serve as Guest Speakers — Share your knowledge on a STEM topic you’re passionate about or present an emerging technology that’s shaping the future.
- Lead Hands-On Experiments or Workshops — Guide students through exciting labs, demonstrations, or maker activities that spark curiosity and build practical skills.
- Mentor Students — Offer ongoing guidance to individuals or teams in clubs, competitions (e.g., robotics, science fairs, engineering challenges), or project-based learning.
- Advise Teachers — Help educators stay current with the latest tools, software, hardware, and teaching methods so they can integrate cutting-edge STEM into the curriculum and better prepare students for college and careers.
- Support Events and Activities — Assist with STEM nights, competitions, field trips, outreach programs, judging at school events, or behind-the-scenes coordination.
No matter your background—whether you’re a working engineer, scientist, IT professional, teacher, retiree, or simply someone excited about STEM—there’s a role that fits your time and talents. Even a few hours a semester can create lasting impact.
Ready to get involved? Fill out our quick volunteer interest form to tell us about your interests and availability. We’ll match you with opportunities that align with your strengths and schedule.
Together, we can ensure every GBS student has access to inspiring, real-world STEM experiences!
